Latest freeware popup blockers?

I have been using the Google toolbar as a popup blocker, and it's a
good one, but after reading posts here I'm concerned it may contain
adware and/or spyware. What are some of the newer, more effective
popup blockers that people like? The ones I tried before Google
weren't very good at catching popunders.

Mozilla has a built-in one, with a manager that lets you allow popups or
stop them from specific sites.

Which version would you recommend, the stable 1.4.1, or the new 1.5?

I haven't gotten around to installing 1.5 yet.

I've had good luck with ToolbarX. It's free, does multiple web sites
searches, and blocks both popups and annoying animations. The web site
is www.toolbarx.com.

Good luck!

The popup stopper is probably exactly the same. Other differences are
minimal.
