looking for a file contents searcher

I am looking for a file contents searcher.
I want to be able to list the text files that have search string matches.
Windows Grep 2.2 (Shareware) works, but displays at least one line of the
files contents.
Windows Grep 2.3 does not list the correct files and the author has not
responded to my email.
