Looking for a Consultant

M

Mary

I am a photographer and take portraits and landscapes. I use both
Medium Format and 35mm film cameras.

I am looking for someone who can help me with configuring my computer
so that what I scan, what is displayed on the monitor and what prints
is all the same color and the end product looks like the original
photo.

I have the following: Photoshop 7, SpyderPro with Optical, PrintFix
(which came with SpyderPro. I am using an Epson Perfection 3200 Photo
flat bed scanner, an Epson Stylus Photo 2200 printer. I use a PC and
not a MAC.

Please only reply if you really can help and you have done this type
of configuration before or if you know of someone who can help me with
this.

I live near Sacramento, California. Please contact me by replying to
this post.

Thanks for your time.

Mary,

Have you run Adobe Gamma on your system? If not, you should do that
first. Go to the Control Panel and double click on it and follow the
instructions.... this will calibrate you monitor(s), and from there
you should be able to get good results.
