Looking at Sample Web page in FP

Rob G answered a new user that he could look for a web page he liked then go
to edit and there would be an FP icon. I don't have that with IE6. Is it
something that gets installed with later versions of FP than 2000?

Thanks for trying Rob. It's not there and I tried "customize toolbar" and
there's no choice for FP. Oh, well, would have been a good learning tool.
Also I created a folder on desktop, dragged the Office Online page to it,
then Opened it in FP and all I got was a link to the Office page.

It's on IE's toolbar, not FP's

The toolbar icon is EDIT. You can also get to this using File | Edit with
FrontPage.

Under FP2000, Tools | Options make sure FP is set as the default HTML editor.

Tom & Wes, In FP2000 Tools/Options there is a box for Check "if" FP is html
editor, it's checked. I don't see anything that says "make FP your html
editor" and in IE file/edit, edit is blanked out.
Is something wrong with my FP or IE6? I'm stumped.

Got it, and FP is my HTML editor. I'm solving my problems with major upgrades.
Thanks, Sue
