You would think that would be obvious....

Offhand, if anyone gets fooled by this, I'd say that survival of the fittest
has won out, and we would have a few less AOL'ers on the 'net.

A scam? Funny, I didn't see a request to send money in there.

C'mon now Chicken Little, at least get the description right!

If more servers blocked attachments in NON-binary groups there certainly
would be fewer chances for spreading the darn thing.

The funny thing is that 90% of these messages have an asian name in the from section. I guess that is supposed to make us trust that it really is from Microsoft. 125 viruses a day is getting out of hand.

Except that their machines are haplessly pumping out gobs of new viral
bodies to fill my mailbox with their friggin 110K attachments. Yeah,
I've set up the filters, and yeah I've got my mail server filtering,
but Ye Gods! Email nowadays has become more an exercise of what to
keep out than what to leave in. I'm beginning to side with those
companies who have forbad email within their walls.

Please note, people who think they are being helpful posting these to ngs,
these are viruses. Microsoft never sends out stuff by email.

Best wishes

I know that microsoft never sends emails out but how to I fix what ever it
is that is letting those emails in. For the record I know not to open them
and Norton catches them so there is no damage but I am frustrated by the
amount I am getting. Also as luck would have it I am running ME (which I
hate). So anythoughts out there would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
