I recently updated my Windows XP system and now have (what I would consider)
a problem. Follwoing the Windows Splahs screen (Says Windows XP, Windows is
starting up" I now get a screen where I have to select an account. It says
"To begin, click your user name" there is a box on the right with ches
pieces that says owner. At the bottom it says after you logon, you can add
or change accounts. Just go to control panel and click user accounts". How
do I get this screen to disappear? When I turn on my computer, I want it to
start up, not stop part way through the start up process. I have gone to
the control panel as mentioned above but there is not option to remove this
window. How can I get rid of it?

Control Panel-User Accounts-Change the way users log on or off.......Uncheck
Use Welcome screen...

Fairly easy I would have thought.....
