Long time to save excel sheet

Hi,

I am using Excel 2003 in office. It takes a long time to open as well as
save the sheet.This happens with every excel data sheet i open. Even a simple
task such as insert a row or column takes a long time to execute. I have
tried to lower the security settings of macro and disabled the auto
calculation option but no result.

The same data sheets gets opened quickly in others profile on same PC even
if the macro security settings are high.

Rest of the Office Applications works fine.

Please help on this matter.

It might be a setting. First try renaming the Excel11.xlb file which you
would find somewhere like:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel

and then try again.
