Long shutdowns

Hi all,

I have an IBM laptop with a new
win2k Pro build on it. I joined the local
domain at work.
My shutdowns are extremely long; about
60 seconds or more. But, when I use a local
ID, it is very quick.

Any Ideas? The Domain account shuts down quick
on other machines, just not on the laptop.

It's a bug. The system tries to write some settings to the registry and get
the notion that it is locked. It times out after 30 seconds. Apply the
latest service pack and it will most probably be fixed.
