Hi,
You may be aware that it is my aspiration to take part of my
long-service leave in February 2008. I am not sure of the procedures
that have to take place to achieve that end. A couple of issues that I
would like explained are:
1. How do I find out just what long-service leave I have accrued?
2. What is the procedure for getting permission to take long-service
leave?
3. Kathy and the girls will be still in residence at 14 Bushman St
while I am away. What arrangements are typically available to
accommodate a supply person for the period I am away?
I asked Alan Palmer if he had any knowledge of persons who might be
available to act as supply while I am away. This was his reply:
Hi Tom, We just heard that friends of ours are doing a month supply at
Grenfell. He has been a leading layman in the Baptist church but is also
a leader with Gideons and very ecumenical. He has been approved for
Sacraments while at Grenfell UCA. His name is Graham Checkley, wife
Jessie, and they have their own caravan which they usually take when
supplying anywhere. He has also been doing some in Baptist churches. I
guess you can see how he goes at Grenfell.
His contact Mobile is- 0418 450 776.
I have note followed up his suggestion.
Regards
Tom
