Installed new 80gb HDD in Dell 8200 to replace original
40gb. Partitioned 40/40gb, formatted NTSF. Loaded XP from
Dell OEM disk. At boot, system stalls at Dell logo for a
LONG time (3-4 minutes), then I get msg 'no hard disk 1
found, press F1 to continue or F2 to reboot. Pressing F1
finally starts XP. What is causing the long boot delay?
Any help will be appreciated. Best - Mitch
