How do I reset the administrator account password without
being able to logon to Windows? I think this computer was
on a domain without ever creating a personal profile.
 
How To Reset The Adminstrator Password Withoug Logging In
To Windows:

Option 1:
---------
1. Boot from a Windows 98 or ME disk.
2. At the DOS prompt, type:

format c:
d:\setup.exe

(assuming that your CD drive is drive d: and that you've
inserted the installation CD for Windows)

Option 2:
---------
1. Boot from your operating system's installation CD.
2. Select the option to install Windows.
3. You will be given the option to delete the existing
partion. Use that option.
3. Create a new partition, and reinstall Windows there.
