Hello All
i am setting up a new windows 2003 server as a DC i want to create sveral
log on script to map drives using just a simple batch file i know the file
works when run locally how do i set up the group polcy in an OU that has
users in it to read and run the batch file when the users in that OU log on

Assign the login script to the OU :

Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Scripts\Startup.

i have done this and when i log on ( i made myself a member to the group )
i do not get the mapped drives

If the above does not help enable Userenv logging on the client, log in
verify you did not get the policies, do whatever you have to do to make the
policies apply. Repost with that Userenv.log and the name of the user
account you are testing with. Also be more specific as far as what
configured policies are not applying and see if the clients are reporting
any Userenv errors in the application event log.

That should be under the Group Policy snap-in(Start|Run... gpedit.msc).
Navigate to User Configuration\Windows Settings\Scripts (Logon/Logoff). He
wants yo be able to assign the script(s) to the user(s) when they logon.

I've yet to get this working under W2K Server.
