Logon problem

I was trying to connect my new laptop from work to my home network; it had
the company domain during logon before I ran the wizard to join my home
network. During the wizard it asked me if I was wanting to connect to a
workgroup with or without a domain so I said "without", thinking that my home
wireless network didn't have a domain that had to be entered. So after being
directed to reboot, the new logon screen has username and password but no
domain field, and it will not accept my logon any more. How can I correct
this so that my logon will work again? Not sure if I am set up with admin
rights, is a new job and I am working remotely from out of state. Is there a
way I can access system restore (if it was enabled) to reset the system back
to before I ran the network wizard?

Thanks...

Unfortunately, only a domain administrator can rejoin you to the company
domain. You will need to call your IT Dept. and have them walk you
through fixing this.

In the future, to use your home network resources with your company
laptop, do this:

Information from MVP Lanwench:
You don't need to change to a workgroup just to access resources on it.
You shouldn't play with your laptop's network settings at all. Once
you've logged in using your domain account (using cached credentials),
and have an IP address on the home network, you can map drives, use
printers, whatnot, very easily - one way, in a command line:

net use x: \\computername\sharename /user:computername\username <enter>
