Logon Page for part of a website

Hi,

I reviewed the "How to create a password-protected Web page by using Front
Page 2003" at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825498
but it does not seem to work. The nonsecure page seems to work fine (but
does little) and when you press on the password protected page, it says the
following message:

The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be
displayed.

The site I am working on is the following:
http://fourseasonspropmgmt.com/TannenBaumII/logon/default.asp

Any suggestions?

Include file not found

/TannenBaumII/logon/logon.asp, line 2

The include file '/logon/_private/logon.inc' was not found.

Yup. You should be able to hit Password Protected Page and get to a login.
That is the part that doesn't work. If you hit non-secure page, it just
tells you that you are not logged in. I can't believe FP hasn't designed a
quick solution for this without all the cutting and pasting.

Thanks for looking!

Have you create and uploaded the missing logon.inc file ?

If yes, then try changing the following

<!--#include virtual="/logon/_private/logon.inc"-->

to

<!--#include file ="../_private/logon.inc"-->

a quick solution for this without all the cutting and pasting.
Oh yeah, that cutting & pasting when you are trying to build a functional
website is really a hassle.

I once had a client whose requirements forced me to actually use the
keyboard. Can you even begin to imagine that???
And, just who is this FP fella that should be designing this stuff, anyway?
