logon name required!

When I start XP, instead of going straight to my desktop, I get a 'Log On To
Windows' box with the name of a user that was removed from my computer.
I have to change the name hen click OK to open Windows.
How do I go straight to my desktop without this problem.

One of the easiest ways is to install TweakUI and then set it to auto
logon.It also has some other features(like removing the arrow on
desktop shortcuts).
