Logon Failure

Dear All,

on my mixed-mode network, just only a win2000 server doesn't work properly,
I mean, when from elsewhere I try to connect to it an error message return
like this:


Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect



Please, anyone of you could give me an help?

typing your user name or password. Please give more

I'm trying to connect to it by "My Network Places"
The same story if I try to map a disk, I get the same error message before
entering user and password
