Logon Error - Incorrect password or unknown username

I have my laptop (name laptop) and desktop )named desktop)
networked. My wife wanted to use the laptop so I set her
up as a user. No passwords are required and all users are
in the administrators group. Now whenever I boot the
desktop I get the message "Incorrect password or unknown
user for \\laptop\C" along with a box to type in a
password. How can I get the desktop to connect with the
laptop seamlessly like it used to?
 
Hi Jim. I've have seen some error's like you describe when
I log into a machine with a user account that does not
have a password. Try adding one for both user accounts.
