Logon Account continually becomes locked during the day

Loggng into a domain server, one user's logon account will
become locked many times during the day. This started
happening afer he changed his password to a 11 chrs
password. Changed the password to 8 chrs but this did not
resolve the 'locked problem'. No new software was loaded.

This usually happens when his old password is cached somewhere.

Has he left himself logged in on another machine on the
network somewhere, from before the password change?

It may be trying to re-connect to shares using the old
password and locking out the account.

A laptop at home, perhaps?

Thank you for replying! He says not but I put his
password back to what it was before he changed it just in
case he forgot he was logged in somewhere.
