Logoff script disappearing

I have written a short logoff script, taking the user to an
intranet site to clock out for the day, but I'm having a
problem with a Win2k machine. The script works fine in XP
and works on the 2000 machine as well, with the exception
that it only works once. I'm placing the file in the
appropriate user logoff folder, but when I go back to that
folder after re-starting the machine the file is gone.
I've tried setting it up as the administrator, then as the
user but neither one sticks. Any ideas? Thanks.

The folder "\System32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logoff".
This is where the scripts reside and where, if you click on
"Show Files" in the logoff script dialogue box, it takes
you to add a script.

Hi-

Just an idea, may be worth trying, maybe not... have you
tried putting the script in the netlogon folder on a dc?

Hello-

I'm not as versed in policy writing as I should be so I
need to ask, what is a dc? The script needs to be run at
user logoff so I'm assuming there is a netlogoff folder as
well? I guess I got a little cocky with this script
because it worked so easily on XP machines. LOL.

I only need this script to run on a few specific machines,
it seemed easier to just install it into each machine
instead of a domain controller. Wouldn't I then have to
create units to push the script to? Thanks.
