Logoff script disappearing

Dave

I may have posted this in the wrong newsgroup earlier, sorry.

I have written a short logoff script(a cmd file), taking
the user to an intranet site to clock out for the day, but
I'm having a problem with a Win2k machine. The script
works fine in XP and works on the 2000 machine as well,
with the exception that it only works once. I'm placing
the file in the appropriate user logoff folder, but when I
go back to that folder after re-starting the machine the
file is gone.
I've tried setting it up as the administrator, then as the
user but neither one sticks. Any ideas? Thanks.

Under group policy -> administrative templates, you can
specify a logout script this may be a different way of
enforcing it to run.

Would that script become specific to that user or to the
machine? The script I use now is just a batch file; would
I need to rewrite it using the scripting host to put it in
the admin templates? Thanks.
