logo in stationery

I'm trying to create stationery with a logo in the topright corner. I've made
a htm file where the logo looks good and send it through Outlook. The problem
is that Outlook replaces the logo with one that looks terrible.
I've tried using different filetypes, imagesizes and resolutions. None of
them come out acceptible.

Is it possible to send sharp images in Outlook, and if so, which setting do
I need to change or which image properties do I need to use?

Version of Outlook? Tried switching between Word and Outlook as the e-mail
editor?
