Logitech "TrackMan Wheel" Scrolling problem in "Select Names" Window

Strange Problem -- I originally had a Logitech "TrackMan
Marble+". When my PC was upgraded to Windows XP and MS
Office XP/2002 the wheel would no longer scroll in
the "Select Names" window (the window that opens up when
your click on the "To" button when composing an e-
message. I figured this was due to the "TrackMan Marble+"
not being compatible with Windows XP and/or Outlook 2002.

I purchased a new Logitech trackball -- "TrackMan Wheel" --
and this fixed the problem.

However, I recently acquired a new PC (with Windows XP and
MS Office XP/2002) and now I have the very same problem
with the Logitech "TrackMan Wheel" of not being able to
scroll in that same "Select Names" window.

The TrackMan Wheel seems to scroll just fine in every
other program, and in other components of Office 2002, and
within other windows in Outlook 2002. It is just this one
window that is causing the problem -- and it is a very
frustrating problem since I have hundreds of contacts to
search through for the names of folks who I cannot recall
their name until I visually see the name. (I have a very
poor memory for names.)

It is very frustrating in that when I purchased and
installed the new Logitech TrackMan Wheel it seemed to
verify my suspicion that the older Logitech unit just was
not XP compatible, but now that theory is completely shot
now that the new Logitech unit was originally working fine
but has now developed the same scrolling problem.

Help please!

Yes, I have the latest drivers. Logitech Mouseware 9.75
(which, BTW, is for Windows XP).
