Logitech trackball

In XP, the middle scroll wheel could be programmed thru the logitech
software and had mine set as the back command when I pressed it. The
logitech software does not have the tab now for the button settings. Am
running 64bit version. No regular mourseware drivers shown for Vista on
logitech site, just the setpoint program which I never used and it is a huge
download probably with a lot of stuff I'd never use

The only way that I got "Back" for the middle button in Vista was to install
SetPoint from Logitech.
Then in SetPoint on the mouse setup tab you can setup "Keystroke Assignment"
for the wheel button.
In the "Specify Keystroke" chick in the box and press your keyboards
"Backspace Key".

Setpoint works just like the old mouse settings with a few more options. I
don't think it takes much
room. The program is large because it is a common program for all Logitech's
mice and keyboards.

Good Luck,
Rich
