Hi
I have the Logitech Dextop MX5000 which comes with the Setpoint driver
and config program. For some wierd reason, when I install Setpoint
something steals focus from whatever I am doing for about one second
every six seconds.
So if I am typing in Word for example, I'll get a couple of words typed
and then something steals the focus from Word and then gives it back
again a second later, meaning I have gaps in my sentences!
Another example: if I click on the Start button, I can just about get
down to All Programs and click that, but have no time to click on any
program shortcut before the focus is stolen and the Start menu closes.
Uninstalling SetPoint fixes the problem, it just means that the
functionality of the mouse/keyboard is limited, for instance I can't
scroll sideways using the tiltwheel.
Anybody else have this problem?
I'm running an Athlon 64 2.8Ghz
1.25Mb RAM
XP SP2
Nothing else unusual!
Cheers
