logitech Quickcam

Darren

Hi,
I have an image built that acts as a kiosk for a custom
application my company has written. We recently
integrated a logitech quickcam into the application.
When I install the software for the cam and reboot, I get
the following errors:

SERVICES.EXE - ENTRY POINT NOT FOUND
The procedure entry point _resetstkoflw could not be
located in dll msvcrt.dll

and

LSASS.EXE - ENTRY POINT NOT FOUND
The procedure entry point _resetstkoflw could not be
located in dll msvcrt.dll

This occurs when I install the full driver and software
package for logitechs quickcams. I have also tried to
just install the camera and microphone drivers. When I
do this, the camera drivers install ok. However, the mic
drivers complete install, then say there is a problem
with the inf file being written for windows 95 or later.
when i check it in device manager, it still has the
exclamation on the logitech mic drivers. Is there
another component that i need to install to support a
microphone?

Thanks
Darren

I don't know about the mic question, but it looks like the original problem
was that the setup package was overwriting system files with older versions
like msvcrt.dll. There is no system file protection in XPe, there is EWF. If
you componentize the drivers this is a non-issue.
