Hello

Just wondered if anyone knows whether the Logitech M-BT69a mouse is
compatible with Windows xp? i went in to control panel to add a new driver,
currently its microsoft, though the mouse is logitech, this is why i wanted
to change it [the mouse is behaving erratically and i've heard this could be
because of the driver settings] but windows flashes up a warning saying:

"Installing this device driver is not recommended because Windows cannot
verify that it is compatible with your hardware. If the driver is not
compatible, your hardware will not work correctly and your computer might
become unstable or stop working completely. Do you want to continue
installing this driver?"

So now im very apprehansive about trying to install it or not.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. :]

Hi Sophie,

I did a search on the M-BT96A mouse and it is compatable with Win XP. The
warning message is saying that the driver does not appear to be correct for
your hardware. Could you tell me more about how the mouse is behaving.
Usually, the drivers that come with XP are fine for most mice. Also, how are
you connecting the mouse? Is it to a USB port, or the PS/2 port on the back
of the computer that has the mouse picture on it?
