Login XP

Recently ran AD-Aware program to remove unwanted reg.
entries. I now can no longer log into XP. Windows loads,
and shows welcome window with Icon. I click on the Icon,
settings are saved, and then windows logs me off. I have
tried all the XP restore facilities from the CD as well as
the HD. Cannot get in to fix anything. Trying to avoid
reformat!

Hi

Try pressing F8 after a reboot until you see a screen that gives you the
option of 'Last Known Good Configuration' - try that. If that doesn't
help - again pressing F8 - see if you can run System Restore via Safe Mode.

1. Restore the registry entries from Quarantine.

2. Ask the Lavasoft Support Forums for advice on removing the item(s) in
question.
