login script

I want to create a .bat file that is unique to each user on my XP Home box.

1) in what folders do I locate these files?
2) does the file name matter?
3) how do I tell XP to run the scripts at logon?

Thanks,
Pat

Doesn't matter.

No.

Put a shortcut to each one in the Startup folder for the appropriate user.

ok, I created login.bat and copied it to my startup folder. however, when you
try to execute a .bat on my XP MCE box it just opens the file in notepad. how
do I make the script recognized as a piece of executable code?

Thanks,
Pat
