login screen picture

I have changed the picture on my screen to one of my kids. When I am
working under my main username, it shows up properly. When I am working
under my other user name, it is not shown (as appropriate). However, when
the machine is first turned on and the log-in screen appears, the PREVIOUS
picture from my screen (my dog) shows up. I have been unable to figure out
how to switch this so that either the new picture appears or no picture
appears.

Any help will be appreciated.

Set the picture to "none" first (Apply). Then put on your new picture.
