Login problems

Hi,

My name is seshadri and iam working as a system and
network administrator for a reputed company.

My problem is my company recently bought a new IBM
thinkpad laptop (P4 with 1.9 GHz).my problem is when iam
trying to login to my domain its taking around 10 min to
login, iam getting a screen stating "Applying your
personal settings".I tried various options, even i
reinstalled Operating system but still iam unable to get
rid of this problem.Pls try help me in this regard
 
Do you use static IP's or DHCP?

Do you use roaming profiles?

Did you create an account for the Laptop?

Is this a 2000 Server?

Is the Laptop NIC set to Auto-Detect Network speed?

Wired LAN or Wireless?
