Hi,
Sorry about the basic question:
I have a Windows XP professional computer connected to my local network,
with some network drive mapped.
The password for the PC is not the same as the password to the network.
Every time I logon, I give the PC password, but unlike what I had when I
used
Windows 2k- I am not requested to enter the password to the network drives.
Only when I actually use the network drive am I requested to enter the
password.
Problem is- when I use some shortcut to a file on the network, I just get an
error
message that it cannot be found, so I have to go to 'My computer' and double
click
on all the network drives and only then enter the password. It's very
annoying...
Is there a way to enter all the passwords in the login phase?
Thanks,
Karen.
