login passwords not working (xp pro)

I logged in as the administrator and changed a user's
password (in computer mgmt). It said the password was
successfully changed. I rebooted and couldn't log in with
that password. To make it worse, after a few times of
trying, the administrator password no longer works. How
do I log in?
 
Try this-------When at the logon screen do a ctrl--alt--dele twice . IE
ctrl-alt dele---ctrl-alt-dele.
