login button for users missing

I tried to install IPX and netware client for game play between two
computers. Now when I start the computer a popup login window comes on
wanting to enter text name and passwords. The Large buttons with the two
different user names don't appear.
How can I get the two button back that are about 1 inch square instead of
the old 98 styler Microsoft user logon?

Control Panel - User Accounts - Change the way users log on or off

Reset the GinaDLL entry in the registry.
