This service fails in Event Viewer leading to not being
able to create a swap file (page file). Any clues?

This service is dependant on the Plug and Play and the RPC services both
running before it can start..

Check in the services snap in that this is the case and if so, try and
manually start the LDM service and see if it fails again.

I get three of these errors. I assume it is because I
have 2 Drives, one with 2 partions.

Do you have the Pace anti piracy driver tpkd.sys on your system,
search using windows explorer. If so try updating it.
