Logging onto Vista using Novell

Greetings,

In trying to get a working setup for the future school year and vista we
have run into a problem. we use novell to manage users and login however the
vista novell version is not getting along with windows. we got vista to the
point where it requires the user to type their login name and password
however we cannot get novell to come up first for users to login and
subsequentially create the windows account. has anyone else found a way
around this problem?

Novell does not have a Vista client yet.

It sounds like they are in a production environment. It is not recommended
to use beta software let alone a tech preview in a production environment.
They should not be using Vista if they need to use the Novell client. They
should investigate the downgrade rights for Vista and switch to XP until
such time as Novell supports Vista.
