Logging on

I am running windows 2000 on my work station in which the
server is windows 2003. Recently while logging on it told
me it couldnt log on due to a user profile corruption and
I was able to get on to the network with a temporary
password. Does anyone know what causes and fixes are?

Do you have a more specific error, or event log error?

Usually you can just delete the local profile from the client and then have
it re-created, but the specific error would help.
