Logging On

Hi

I'm the only person who uses my pc, and I had it set so as soon as I switched it on, it started automatically without showing the welcome screen. Since downloading some Window updates yesterday, I have to go through the welcome screen now. Any ideas?

Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2. In the list of users, highlight the username that you want logged on automatically. Next, uncheck the box Users must enter a username and password.............. Click Apply. In the next dialog, enter the password for the user name you selected earlier, if any.
