Logging on to a Network

I have tried just about everything the XP Bible says and
cannot receive my emails from a remote server. They can
see me and I can Ping them successfully, but Outlook does
not connect. I have also used the Network Wizard to no
avail. Can you give me other options to try?

PS I even changed the way I log on to my computer using
the company name assigned, mariel, and the password I was
assigned. Still nothing

Have you set up Outlook for the account on the remote server? In
Outlook XP this is setup under Tools, Email Accounts. You probably have
to set up your account on the mail server. After you do there is a
button to press to test the setup.
