Is there a log kept anywhere of who logged in, what time they logged in, and
when they logged out? Checked event viewer but don't see it there? If not
can I configure event viewer to capture this info?

Thanks in advance.

Are you familiar with the standard auditing
in Win2K?

If you enable it, you can track user login
success and or failures.

I made no assumptions when I replied...

Administrative Tools / Local Security Policy

Under "Local Policies", find "Audit Policy"

Enable the auditing you wish and
view Secuirty Log in Event Viewer.

I followed the directions above AND WHEN I REACHED THE DESIRED PAGE i NOTICED THAT ALL FORMS OF AUDITING WERE DISABLED. i ATTEMPTED TO RIGHT CLICK ON THE POLICYS i WANTED TO ENABLE BUT WHEN i ENTERED THE pROPERTIES SCREEN THE CHECK BOXES NEXT TO SUCCESSES AND FAILURES WERE GRAYED OUT. dO YOU OR ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN CHANGE THESES POLICIES HIGHER UP ON THE TREE OR IF THERE IS ANY WAY TO UNLOCK THESE BOXES.
