log on

I had to install a new c: hard-drive and then completely restore the
computer. I have set windows to logon with the typical logon window. When I
tried to sign on as the Administrator with and without the password I use, I
get the following message "Unable to log you on because of an account
restriction." When I look at the Documents and Settings I have
Administrator, Fay, Fay (lastname), and HP_Owner.

I need to attach this computer to my network. When I go to System Properties
dialog box and Computer Name tab. I do not have access to the buttons I need
to do that. I just have a change button that only allows me to change the
computer name and workgroup.

What do I need to do to get access to join the network.

Thank you.

I figured it out. I forgot that what I had was Home XP and had updated it to
WindowsXP professional. Sorry
