log on to windows

I changed my laptop network identification from a member of domain to a
workgroup.

It took the changes and I restarted the computer.

Upon "log on to windows" screen... i entered my usual user namd and
password... but it does not allow me to log in.

What can I do?

additional information: my log on dialog box only has fields for User name:
and password:

It does not have any other fields.
