I changed my computer's name, and changed from a domain (no longer valid) and
created a workgroup. After restart, I cannot log on using my normal user id,
and I don't know the administrator password. Help?

Well - if you did not go in and verify you had a local account to log into -
then of course the domain username/password you were using is going to stop
working when you LEAVE said domain!

You're only choices are to hack the Administrator's password and/or perform
a clean installation on the machine (if this computer cannot be rejoined to
the original domain by someone.)

Hack your password:

Thank you, talk about a humbling experience. I am back in, and lesson learned.
