Hello

I recently changed my log on sound to a sound that runs 1 minute 14 seconds
(The Star Spangled Banner). After about 5 seconds, the song cuts off. I want
to have windows play the whole song, regardless of whether windows has fully
launched beforehand or not.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks

No, and it may cause problems. If you want to hear the song first thing in
the morning, make a shortcut to it and listen on your favorite player. You
could even write a batch file and put it in your startup.

No, And don't try to do that by fixes or somethnig.

If you want that sound at log on, Go to Control Panel > Schedule Tasks > Schedule the sound at log on.
Step by step :
Open Control Panel
Double click Schedule tasks
Double click Add scheduled tasks
Click Next
Browse for the sound file
Choose When i log on
Enter your password
Click Finish

If you are using Xp Sp2 :
Open properties of the task
Check the option Run only if logged in
Click OK
