Log on problem

After pressing control alt delete, Windows 2000 cycles
back to the logon screen after password in entered
correctly. The logon process begins to start but reverts
back to logon screen before systems starts.
 
run out of HDD space OR you you've reached your limit on you registry size
in My Computer Proprieties, advance tab, performance options, virtual mem
change!

Had to go back to a server to check that, I can find it on my XP machine, is
it still an option in XP???
