1. Click Start - Run - type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 and press Enter key.
2. Select the user you want to Auto Login and uncheck "User must enter a
user name and password to use this computer".
3. Restart your computer for changes to take effect.

Hope this help, let us know!

Ok! We start again. Maybe you forget something.

1. Click Start - Run - type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
2. You already uncheck the "User must enter...." option, so make a check
mark on it. Click the Apply button first.
3. Select the appropriate user from the list.
4. Now, on check the option "User must entter...". Now, you will be asked to
enter the password of that user, if any. Maybe, last time you skip this and
just leave the password blank. If your user have any password then type it
here.

For screen scaver:

1. Right-click on Desktop and choose Properties.
2. Click Screen Saver tab.
3. Uncheck the option "On Resume, display Welcome Screen"

One more thing:

1. Goto Control Panel and open Power Options.
2. Click Advanced tab.
3. uncheck the option "Prompt for password....."

Hope this help, let us know!

in after my screen saver has been on.

The problem I have is I still have to log on each time my computer restarts.
I would like it just to automatically log me in. I get to this part of the
instructions them I seem to have a problem..........1. Click Start - Run -
type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
2. You already uncheck the "User must enter...." option, so make a check
mark on it. Click the Apply button first.
3. Select the appropriate user from the list.
4. Now, on check the option "User must entter...". Now, you will be asked to

What I did is all of the above including number 3. BUt once I have
unclicked the user must enter........all three of my usernames etc are
highlighted and I am asked for a password which I enter.

The three usernames ets are as follows
Administrator - Administrator
ASPNET - Users
MY NAme - Administrators

Then I restart my computer and I still get the message ....."THe systemKindest Regards

Make sure that when you are ask to enter the password then you are using the
Case Senstive Method. Means, simraj and SIMRAJ both are different passwords.

or

Just Click Start - Control Panel - open Users Accounts - click on your User
Name - and click Remove My Password. Because you no longer require any
password to login to Windows.

You can see the following article for the same error message:

Hope this help, let us know!
