Log Off Problems

When I log off Win XP Pro all the way out to the screen
where all the users are listed, and then log back on, I
can get into IE but I can't get into OE to send or
receive my e-mail (I'm on my cable company's high speed
Internet). Is there a way to troubleshoot to find out
where the glitch is? If I reboot, I am able to use OE
with no problem--until I log off and try to return. Is
their a way to troubleshoot this problem?

When you try to load OE when it doesn't work, does its window appear and
then disappear? Does the msimn.exe process show up when you load OE? Is
that process already there in Task Manager's Process list even before you
start OE? Are you actually logging off to get to the Welcome screen, or are
you Fast Switching?
