Log off account

Hi all,

I have a question about logging off accounts in AD. I know that there is a
place where you can set up the logon hours for a user account. What would
happen if the user still logs on when the time has past the allowed time
frame? I mean, if I limit users to be able to logon from 0800 hrs to 2300
hrs, what would happen if a user has kept his/her log on after 2300 hrs?
Would the account be log off automatically by AD? If so, is there anywhere I
can set up a grace time before eventually forcing a log off?

Thanks,
Ed

Hi

When ever you enable such an option in the user's properties for allowing them to login during a specified period, windows will automatically log him off after showing him a message probably in the last 10 min before his time gets expired. What you can do here is you can decide the amt of grace time which you would like to give to your users and accordingly set the schedule time of logoff. I have not come across any such option where you can decide the grace time

Have a nice day
