Hi all,

I've come to notice that some log files are taking up disk space on the
system partition of our Win2K server. The path for the log files is found in
C:\Winnt\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1

Does anyone have any idea of what this might be? And if this can be trim to
free up some space, would you be able to tell me how?

Many thanks.

PS : The server is running also Exchange 2K and is being used as a SMTP
gateway.

This is the log file for your web server. If your server is being used for
OWA or etc. (any HTTP or HTTPS). Those logs are log according to date and
time. If you have no use of those log, ie, you don't create report and etc.,
then you can trim them. Otherwise, you can back up to another location.
These logs are good in tracing back if anyone has attempted to hack your
site.
