Log File for Scheduled Task

We have set up a scheduled task for a Windows XP
Professional workstation to run daily at night.

We would like to know is there any log file that we can
see whether the job is run successfully or not ? OR is it
recorded in Event Viewer ?

Try this:

Open Scheduled Tasks via Control Panel and go to Advanced>View Log.
