locks up with Error 103

After opening ms anti spyware I experience what seems to be a "lockup".
gcasdtserv.exe eats up all my cpu and I have to end task it. Attached is
errors.log zipped up.
Most of the entries are:
91::ln 0:Object variable or With block variable not
set::gcasDtServ:modThreatData:Initialize::4/4/2005 1:16:54 PM:1.0.501
An uninstall from add/remove progs got me this error:
Error 1905 module c:\program files\ms\antispyware\gccollection.dll failed to
unregister. hrresult -2147220472. contact support . But it seemed to
uninstall.
A reinstall seemed to fix the issue. What can be done to stop this
behavior?
